← Semi-Autonomous Research / Engineering Record / Axis-Target Dual Obstruction
Axis-Target Dual Obstruction v0.3 — Uses dual witnesses to answer the question left by v0.2: it is not that the primal search is not trying hard enough, but that the existing R=3 function class itself is structurally blocked by the [18,23] axis band and tail terms; all 18/18 patches prove J(A)≥2, whereas the target requires <1.
This package uses dual witnesses to answer the question left by the previous package, quoted as-is; the conclusion directs the next step toward the support-prime cost frontier.
"This leaves two possibilities: 1. The primal searcher has not yet found a truly good direction; 2. The entire restricted function class of R=3 is inherently blocked by the geometric relationship between the real axis and the tail terms. This node uses a dual witness to distinguish between the two. The results support the second explanation." — Excerpted from Technical Note §1 of this package.

The dual witnesses for each of the 18 patches (outputs/witnesses/*.witness.json) and the large Gram data inherited from the previous package (data/parent_gram_results.json, 388 KB) are not listed individually; they are all in the complete zip file.
