Research Protocols
The protocol axis answers the question "how do the AI / research roles collaborate?" — three separate things from methodology (how research paths are generated, expanded, and converged) and autonomy mode (who holds the research direction and scheduling); don't collapse them into one pipeline. A case can use the AMRAL-Core methodology paired with the TRP protocol, or direct search paired with a single agent and no formal protocol at all.
