Numerical Information Object Theory (NIOT) · ten v0.1 DRAFT documents: definitions and specifications for 'a number is more than a scalar'

NIOT proposes that a usable numerical value x is only a finite projection of a richer 'numerical information object' 𝔑x. The object carries identity, structure, address, provenance, uncertainty and cross-domain bridges; one can refine one's observation of it from different angles with a family of 'information probes', held in matrices that are finite at every epoch yet have no fixed bound on dimension. The ten documents develop the idea in order: overview (00), ontology (01), probe calculus (02), unboundedly expandable finite matrices (03), spectra and coupling (04), index geometry (05), floating-point projection and cross-domain bridges (06), BCODR generalized as responsibility closure (07), a nine-layer canonical architecture (08), and an AI-native runtime specification (09).

Honest status: all ten documents are marked v0.1 DRAFT and sit at the level of definitions and specification; they are not proved mathematical results and attack no known conjecture. This site's tally: about 37 statements labelled 'theorem', 'proposition' or 'theorem candidate' are elementary consequences of the definitions, and only 3 come with a proof (1–5 lines); the documents ship no executable code, machine-checked formalization (Lean/Coq), tests or run logs, and cite no external literature; the papers themselves declare about 46 open problems. The series' own central test — whether NIOT is really more than 'a scalar plus metadata' (overview question 10; NIOT-01 §29) — has no implementation yet to answer it. Each of 01–09 ends with a 'not claimed' list (00 has §17 and §30 instead); read that part first.

Reading path: every header lists all earlier papers as prerequisites, but the real dependencies are fewer — 02 needs 01; 03 needs 02; 04 needs 02–03; 05 needs 01, 03, 04; 06 needs 01, 02, 05; 07 needs 02, 04, 06; 08 integrates 01–07; 09 needs 08. A short first reading is 00 (§17, §30) → 01 → 06 → 09. Papers 04 and 05 (about 290 vocabulary-style sections each) are marked as reference pages and can be skipped at first.

Authorship and provenance: all ten originals are signed 'Author: Neo.K; Institution: EveMissLab / 一言諾科技有限公司', version v0.1, dated 2026-09-22. The originals name no AI collaborator or executor; this site does not guess, and will add the line once it is confirmed. The original files are served byte for byte, not repackaged; the full original material is kept in AMRAL's research archive.

Terms used but not on this site: ICNS, MNVP, CAIR, ISQL, AIC (active-index calculus), identity calculus, SEDB — each given only a one-line role in overview §10 and never developed; the author's earlier 'completion projection' paper on which NIOT-06 builds is not on this site either. For BCODR see the BCODR page of the Lebesgue case: it expands the acronym as 'Bidirectional Circular Overlap Decomposition and Recomposition' and states that v0.1 has not been shown to converge for arbitrary search problems; NIOT-07 re-reads it as 'Bidirectional Structural Localization and Responsibility Closure' and extends its reach to proof search, debugging, latent AI mechanisms and scientific hypothesis spaces — an extension beyond what that page supports.

Editor's note: the source has two LaTeX defects (\text{NOT_APPLICABLE} in 02, and an unclosed \boxed{ in §46 of 06); those two expressions show as raw source on the pages. The files' bytes are unchanged.

Ten documents · 00–09

Four spine papers (00, 01, 06, 09), four developments (02, 03, 07, 08), two vocabulary-style reference pages (04, 05). All ten registered reader pages (ten body parts) now provide complete Chinese-English full texts, with authoritative originals and full-text translations downloadable separately. Translation is not independent mathematical verification and does not upgrade the original evidence level; the research status of the ten v0.1 DRAFTs, original formulas, and existing editorial notes remain unchanged.
